Revised -- Gordon County TEA party does not make endorsements

7/12/2010 -

First, I want to Thank You for the service you provide the 9th District.  Second, I want to say that Buddy Gray is one individual in the Gordon County Tea Party and HE supports Ray McBerry, but the rest of us do NOT.  I am Damon Walker and I am and have been the official spokesperson for the Gordon County Tea Party since its inception.  Please correct this news report quickly. Please make it well known that we have not even discussed, much less voted on an endorsement of Ray McBerry.  Please feel free to call me with any questions.

Gordon County;

Governor: Ray McBerry

9th Congressional District: Steve Tarvin

Gordon County

My name is Buddy Gray, I live in Calhoun and I’m a leader in the Tea Party of Gordon County. The only way we are ever going to stop this out of control Federal Government, is to elect men and women who know and understand the Constitution and Bill of Rights as the Founding Fathers intended it to be understood and implemented……and will vote accordingly…………No Exceptions.

Therefore, I am here today as a Tea Party leader, to give my support to and endorse Steve Tarvin for US House 9th District Representative and Ray McBerry for Governor of the State of Georgia. Both these men have scored the highest in the “elect the right candidate” vetting system and are worthy of the your vote and the office they seek.

Thank you
Buddy Gray
