Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp announced today the close of candidate qualifying for the special election to fill the vacancy in State House District 58.
The special election for State House District 58 will occur in Fulton County.
The election is a non-partisan, special election with no party primary. However, each candidateís party affiliation, if any, will be listed on the ballot. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. A run-off election, if needed, will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016. The voter registration deadline for the special election is Monday, December 21, 2015.
